Gialdi Vini

FRA : La Gialdi Vini SA a été fondée en 1953 par Guglielmo Gialdi et commence son activité en qualité de commerce de vins. En 1984, suite à l’achat d’une cave située au nord du Tessin, l’entreprise débute avec la production de ses propre vins Merlot, production qui au fil des années se développe tant au Nord quant au Sud du Canton avec la vinification de raisins provenant des régions Mendrisiotto et Tre Valli. Le vaste assortiment des vins Gialdi se compose de deux lignes de vins qui se différencient par leurs caractéristiques organoleptiques liées au territoire de provenance des raisins.

La Ligne Gialdi propose pour la plus grande partie des vins obtenus de la vinification de raisins achetés à environs deux-cents viticulteurs qui cultivent leurs vignes dans la région des Tre Valli dans le Sopraceneri au Nord du Tessin.
Le sol sablonneux et très drainant, confère à ces vins des notes épicées et balsamiques, tandis que la présence de roche de gneiss et granit confère à ces vins “du Nord” grande sapidité et un caractère austère qui les rend en même temps complexes, équilibrés et aptes au vieillissement.

La Ligne Brivio se concentre sur la production de vins du Sud du Tessin. Les raisins sont achetés à environ quatre-vingts viticulteurs de la région du Sottoceneri. Au sud les terrains sont calcaires, lourds et riches d’argile et plus profonds par rapport au Sopraceneri. Les vins résultent de bon corps, moelleux et de grande finesse et élégance.

L’entreprise compte une trentaine d’étiquettes réparties en parts égales entre les deux lignes de production. Les vins sont produits dans le respect et la valorisation maximale de ces deux terroirs typiques et spectaculaires.

ALL : Gialdi Vini SA wurde 1953 von Guglielmo Gialdi gegründet und begann als Weinhändler. Nach dem Kauf eines Weinguts im nördlichen Tessin im Jahr 1984 begann das Unternehmen mit der Produktion eigener Merlot-Weine. Im Laufe der Jahre wurde die Produktion sowohl nördlich als auch südlich des Kantons ausgedehnt, wobei Trauben aus den Regionen Mendrisiotto und Tre Valli verwendet werden. Das umfangreiche Gialdi-Weinsortiment umfasst zwei Linien, die sich durch ihre organoleptischen Eigenschaften, die mit der geografischen Herkunft der Trauben verbunden sind, unterscheiden.

Die Gialdi-Linie umfasst hauptsächlich Weine aus Trauben, die von rund zweihundert Winzern bezogen werden, die ihre Reben in der Region Tre Valli bei Sopraceneri im nördlichen Tessin anbauen. Der sandige, gut durchlässige Boden verleiht diesen Weinen würzige und balsamische Noten, während das Vorhandensein von Gneis und Granitgestein diesen „nördlichen“ Weinen große Würze und einen strengen Charakter verleiht, der sie gleichzeitig komplex, ausgewogen und lagerfähig macht.

Die Brivio-Linie konzentriert sich auf die Herstellung von Weinen aus dem südlichen Tessin. Die Trauben werden von rund achtzig Winzern in der Region Sottoceneri bezogen. Im Süden sind die Böden kalkhaltig, schwer und reich an Lehm und tiefer als in der Region Sopraceneri. Die daraus entstehenden Weine sind vollmundig, geschmeidig und von bemerkenswerter Finesse und Eleganz.

Das Unternehmen produziert rund dreißig verschiedene Weine, die gleichmäßig auf die beiden Produktionslinien verteilt sind. Die Weine werden mit Respekt und größter Wertschätzung für diese beiden unverwechselbaren und spektakulären Terroirs hergestellt.

ENG : Gialdi Vini SA was founded in 1953 by Guglielmo Gialdi and began as a wine merchant. In 1984, following the purchase of a winery in northern Ticino, the company started producing its own Merlot wines. Over the years, production has expanded both north and south of the canton, using grapes from the Mendrisiotto and Tre Valli regions. The extensive Gialdi wine range comprises two lines, distinguished by their organoleptic characteristics linked to the grapes’ geographical origin.

The Gialdi Line primarily features wines made from grapes purchased from approximately two hundred winegrowers cultivating their vines in the Tre Valli region of Sopraceneri in northern Ticino. The sandy, well-drained soil imparts spicy and balsamic notes to these wines, while the presence of gneiss and granite rock lends these « northern » wines great savoriness and an austere character that simultaneously makes them complex, balanced, and age-worthy.

The Brivio Line focuses on producing wines from southern Ticino. The grapes are purchased from approximately eighty winegrowers in the Sottoceneri region. In the south, the soils are calcareous, heavy, and rich in clay, and deeper than those in the Sopraceneri. The resulting wines are full-bodied, smooth, and remarkably refined and elegant.

The company produces around thirty labels, divided equally between the two production lines. The wines are crafted with respect for and maximum appreciation of these two distinctive and spectacular terroirs.
